Our Wards under the General Medicine Program are truly a great place to work.
South West 2 holds 20 inpatient beds comprised of General Medical patients admitted for cardiac, renal, and respiratory conditions. We are one of several wards to have implemented ward governance, providing care to patients under the supervision of a medical, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health lead. Under the governance structure, staff are encouraged to actively engage in quality improvement and risk mitigation activities to provide safe and timely care to patients.
Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service and proudly provides healthcare to one-quarter of Melbourne’s population, across the entire lifespan from newborns and children, to adults, the elderly, their families, and carers. More than 22,000 people work at over 40 care locations across south-eastern Melbourne.
We recognize the value of equal employment opportunity and are committed to patient safety and promoting fairness, equity, and diversity in the workplace. At Monash Health we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and work to our six guiding principles and ICare values.
