Key responsibilities;

• Provide a high quality, professional service of care to our clients.
• Treat our clients with dignity and respect.
• Record care entries on the care plan system.
• Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care to patients.
• Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assisting with patient mobility and transfers.
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Observing and reporting any changes in the patient’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Encourage independence where safe to do so.

Requirements;

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a healthcare assistant training program or certification is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedure (Preferred).
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
