About the Job.

Solsken Limited is a Care provider. Over the recent years we have observed a need for a bespoke community service for individuals who require complex care or respite service in their own homes.

To fulfil this need, we have formed a team of experienced professionals who will offer new effective, and innovative methods to keep individuals safe, cared for and protected within the community.

We intend to provide a well led, responsive service with professionals who understand the importance of person-centred care and support.

Key responsibilities;

  • Keep the individual well and safe by being responsive, caring and aware of the individuals needs at all times.
  • Provide appropriate levels of healthcare as trained, always keeping the individual’s health and wellbeing as your focal point.
  • Effective liaison between the individual, their family, healthcare professionals, management team and your team to provide a consistent approach that meets the needs of the individual.
  • Promote independence Promote opportunities to engage in activities to stimulate and engage the individual – be creative!
  • Monitoring and maintaining records Provide help with aspects of personal care Provide respite, support for the guardians/parents of the individual.

Requirements;

  • X2 Proof of address (dated in the last 3 months).
  • Proof of NI number.
  • Proof of right to work (passport, birth certificate, visa).
  • Driving licence (if applicable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as alone.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ability to commit to weekend work (alternative).
  • Personal Care.
  • Fluid and nutrition.
  • Medication.
  • Domestics.
  • Communication.
  • Bowel management.
  • Catheter care.
  • Peg care.
  • Nebulizer care.
  • Tracheotomy care.
