Key responsibilities;
- As a caregiver, you will provide personal care and support to elderly residents.
- As a healthcare assistant, you will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s physical or mental health.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
Requirements;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a care assistant or similar role.
- Knowledge of elderly care practices and techniques.
- Familiarity with common age-related conditions and their management.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
