This client has multiple roles in two locations within 30 minutes of Hobart and can take (9) shifts per fortnight or more including residential care, community care, and independent living housing options.
They are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated Registered Nurses with a passion for working with the elderly to join their teams.
Key responsibilities;
- Supporting residents and clients concerning their independence and making informed choices about their care.
- Undertake initial and ongoing assessment and planning for care in partnership with the resident, with a focus on optimizing health and well-being by the resident’s needs, goals, and preferences.
- Contribute to and lead the facility’s approach to the delivery of safe and effective services and support for daily living including, clinical care and personal care by the resident’s needs, goals, and preferences to optimize independence, health, well-being, and quality of life.
- Implementing and maintaining care plans.
- A high level of organizational and prioritization skills and an ability to multi-task.
- A commitment to quality continuous improvement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Requirements;
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division I.
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake and maintain the equivalent throughout employment.
- An approved NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or a willingness to undertake one.
- The provision of an Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register confirms that the applicant has received a minimum of two doses and Booster of the COVID-19 Vaccination.
- Valid Australian Work Entitlements.
