Our client, a leading supplier of semiconductor assembly equipment in Austria is hiring Engineering Project Managers for permanent on-site jobs in Austria, Europe. Willingness to relocate to Austria is required – we provide full visa sponsorship and relocation assistance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • The Engineering Project Manager represents the company to the customer in all project matters according to the principle of “one face to the customer”. Within the company, he/she is the internal client and represents the customer’s interests in the implementation of operational and strategic goals
  • Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Gathering customer specific requirements (specification)
  • Elaboration of a technical solution in cooperation with the involved development departments
  • Project execution in compliance with deadlines, costs and quality
  • Support of the product line with sales forecast and margin control
  • Assistance in contract negotiations and design (product and solution presentations)
  • Telephone negotiations and escalation management
  • Ensuring the flow of information both internally and externally

Requirements

  • academic degree, ideally in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Flexibility, independence and assertiveness
  • Systematic, networked way of thinking, understanding of innovation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Target-oriented work under pressure
  • High level of commitment, good motivator and team player
  • Very good command of English
  • Prior knowledge of German is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Willingness to learn German
