Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Teaching specialization: Music theory
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), Child development worker (ECE level 2)
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to tell stories, supervise staff, trainees or volunteers, order supplies and equipment

- The candidates should be able to support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children, assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
- The candidates should be able to provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity, maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
- The candidates should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants, teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation
