Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, the Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and standardising systems for WesTrac’s Service Operations Department, ensuring ample resources are in place to meet business demands. This entails supporting, maintaining, and validating planning tools and systems both regionally and in metropolitan areas, along the entire value chain.
Additionally, the Systems Analyst provides governance over systems, tools, and procedures relating to the planning department. Through close interaction with stakeholders, the successful individual will facilitate efficient communication, serving as a centralised resource for the business to gain clear insight into consolidated demand and its execution.

Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days
To be successful the following is required:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Mathematics, or an equivalent field or transferrable experience; OR significant industry experience
- Proficiency with Business ERP systems
- Experience in Forecasting, Planning, or Scheduling
- Coding proficiency (SQL/Python experience is seen as highly desirable)
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Power BI & Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Strong customer service aptitude, adept at fostering and sustaining productive relationships
- Proficiency in process improvement and change management
- Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills for effective conflict resolution
- Advanced time management, planning, and organisational skills, adept at managing varying workloads and priorities to achieve goals
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
