Key responsibilities;
- Travel required – You will be required to travel around Maldon, Witham, Hatfield Peveral, Wickham Bishops, South Woodham Ferrers, and Chelmsford, however, you may be required to work within our surrounding areas of Mid Essex.
- A full driver’s license and own vehicle is essential.
- As a Care Assistant in retirement, you’ll be playing a key role in helping our customers regain their independence and continue living in their own homes. This could include helping clients to relearn skills in their lives, such as personal care, mobility, and preparing meals. You don’t need to have any previous experience as we will provide you with all the training you need.
- Once you are trained, you will be assigned a mentor who will take you out to meet some of our customers and work alongside you until you are confident in the role. After your induction training, with guaranteed contracted hours, we will support you to progress within the company, paying for ongoing specialist training, nationally recognized qualifications, and well-being support.
- As this is a Care Assistant role in the community, we will need you to have access to a car and a full driving license with business insurance. With rising petrol costs, we offer the government a maximum tax-free mileage allowance of 45p per mile as well as paying your time traveling between customers.
