About the Job.
Drivers earn an hourly wage ($7.85 / hour or higher depending on experience and length of employment), along with tips and nightly mileage reimbursement. Most of our drivers will average about $14.00 – $20.00 + / hour, and on some shifts make quite a bit more than that amount.
Mileage reimbursement, which is paid at the end of every shift is based on 7.5% – 8.75 of all gross delivery sales by a driver when using a Wedgy’s car sign. (Our mileage reimbursement rate usually averages out to around $2.25 – $2.75 for each delivery made.)
Deliver Wedgy’s products safely and efficiently. Additional duties include answering the phones, prepping and/or making food products, restocking inventory items, cleaning the restaurant, and interacting with customers in a polite and friendly manner.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a safe motor vehicle in good mechanical condition. Must have a minimum 2-year uninterrupted driving record and provide a 3-year MVR that meets the minimum requirements as established by our insurance company. Must also carry at least the state minimum amount of liability insurance. Basic math and phone skills are also a must.
