4D is an acute medical that encompasses the care of cardiology patients requiring telemetry, respiratory, oncology, renal, geriatric, and palliative care patients.

The medical division has regular education sessions and in-services to assist with your learning and development. Our medical educators are available during and after hours to provide additional support and education on the wards with opportunities for further education and training in relevant courses is well supported.

- The Maitland Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including maternity, gynecology, pediatrics and special care nursery, medical service and rehabilitation, surgery, orthopedics, and day surgery. We have a busy emergency department and an adult intensive care unit as well as mental health, dental, renal, and diagnostic services onsite.
Requirements;
- Knowledge and skills in caring for cardiac, respiratory, palliative, and geriatric patients are desired.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
