About the Job.
This role requires you to perform deliveries and pick-ups in heavy bulk vehicles by loading goods onto trucks and restraining goods as required.
Undertaking basic truck inspections and maintenance and reporting any issues to management.
Our Client the Aldi Distribution Centre located in Jandakot is currently looking for Experienced MC Truck Drivers that are wanting ongoing work and who can work across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday). They are currently offering 80-hour fortnights with the potential for a few hours extra each week, ongoing work with the view to a Permanent Position (after only 3 Months), and Fortnightly roostering. Their Fleet is all late model Scania’s with Automatic Gearboxes.
This position will see you loading your trailer and then driving directly to one of their stores, unloading freight via Electric Pallet Jack into areas of the store, loading back up the returns, and carrying onto either the next store or heading back to the depot for reloading.
Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test
Requirements;
- MUST HAVE Current MC license
- MUST have at least 1 year of Driving Experience in that License Class,
- Must be able to Reverse Trailers onto Docks & Tight Access Areas,
- Available to Work Across all Days of the Week (Monday to Sunday)
- 2 Recent Driver Related References,
- Provide a Recent Driver History at the Interview,
- Fit & Healthy,
- Clean Log Books.
