Key responsibilities;

• Supply and empty bed pans.
• Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Serve meal trays and feed patients.
• Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas.
• Bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Answer call signals.

Requirements;

• Acute care nursing Certificate.
• Geriatric Certificate.
• Moving patient safety Principles (MPSP) training.
• First Aid Certificate.
• CPR Certificate.
• Nursing Aide Certificate.
• Health Care Aide Certificate.
