Grampians Health Ballarat is a renowned Aged Care provider, boasting nine Aged Care Communities that have been delivering compassionate care for over 150 years. This includes Jack Lonsdale Lodge, James Thomas Court, Eureka Village Hostel, Geoffrey Cutter Centre, WB Messer, PS Hobson, Hailey House, Talbot Place and Bill Crawford Lodge.
The successful applicants will be excellent communicators with a sound understanding/knowledge of ACFI, Aged Care Standards, and Quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities;
- Caring for a diverse range of residents in varied care settings.
- Participate in the provision of resident-focused, holistic care.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for our residents.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager to facilitate and foster best practice standards in nursing care for residents and their families and carers.
Requirements;
- Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills, commensurate with experience.
