Key responsibilities;
- Support with all aspects of daily living and personal care.
- Medication.
- Commit to keeping thorough records.
- Ability to work alone and with the other members of the team positively and constructively.
- Following a clear and detailed Care Plan.
Requirements;
- MUST have worked as a carer previously in the UK (Preferably at least 6 months experience)
- Experience in manual handling including the use of a hoist essential.
- Flexible to workdays & occasional nights at least
- Due to client/family preference, this role is open to Female Support Workers only.
- Complex care and spinal injury experience are beneficial but full training is given to the right candidate.
- Driving license (not essential)
- Caring and patient with good communication skills
- Administer medication and ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or a related topic or be willing to study towards this.
