About the Job.

This role will be supporting a lovely gentleman who suffers from a brain injury following a road traffic incident, he uses a wheelchair to mobilize and is unable to communicate verbally.

This position is open to female support workers only, due to the family & client preference

At Team Brain Injury, we support adults and young people who have needs attributed to Brain/Spinal injuries and or Mental Health conditions with associated complex needs.

Our goal is to empower them to integrate more within their community whilst maintaining their independence and personal choice.

Key responsibilities;

  • Able to help with personal care.
  • Able to prepare meals.
  • Potentially administer medication and Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and social Care or a related topic, or be willing to study towards this.

Requirements;

  • Worked as a carer previously in the UK (Preferably at least 3 months experience).
  • Hold a Full UK driver’s license (Mandatory).
  • Experience working with brain injuries would be beneficial but not essential.
