Purovets are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic independent, busy, local practice in the Northamptonshire area. The practice is situated close to the M1 and A1(M) which makes it an easy commute from surrounding areas.
This long-established RCVS Accredited practice have 9 dedicated small animal Vets and are now looking for a new member for their impressive roster. They provide consistent first opinion work and this comes as no surprise as they offer a range of services including radiography, ultrasonography, an in house laboratory, endoscopy, Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery plus many more! Thanks to the team’s hard work, they were awarded the ‘Best UK Vet’ in 2019, a prestigious reward just highlighting how hard this team works!

Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon – Northamptonshire
– Salary from £42,000 DOE

The role:
– Salary from £42,000 DOE
– 39.25 hours a week
– 2 long days, either 8:15am 5pm (ops day) or 9am 7pm plus on-call until 10pm
– 3 short days, 6.5 hour shift either starting at 7:30am or finishing at 7:30pm
– 1 in 7 Saturdays, 8:30am 3pm
– 1 in 7 on-call weekdays (there is 24/7 on site VN support) Generous time off in lieu
– 1 in 7 weekend on-call, 8:30am 4pm
