The role is core within the services of the Antenatal Outpatient Department, which will include working within the Maternity Triage, Antenatal Clinic, and Antenatal Day Unit, and we welcome candidates who wish to become part of a valued, skilled, developing and sufficient workforce.

Job Title: Core Antenatal Outpatient Department Midwife

Location: Kingston upon Hull HU3, UK

As a registered midwife, the post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of care provided in Maternity services.

Exciting opportunities are available of developing one’s own practice in Ultrasound scanning.

The primary aim of the service is to meet the Antenatal needs of the population of Women residing throughout the city of Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and a wider tertiary catchment area by providing a comprehensive range of general and specialised Antenatal Maternity services.

The service is recognised for the quality of its teaching and research and is a strong leader in terms of driving forward innovative ways of working.

The service delivers a range of routine and tertiary acute services including consultation, specialised imaging and diagnostics, elective and emergency medical and obstetric treatments follow up care, monitoring of high-risk pregnancies and delivery of long-term treatment programmes.

In addition, to be part of a Multi-disciplinary Team developing Clinics and innovative ways of working, which will support choice and personalisation for Women and their families.
