Salary: $29.92 to $32.14 hourly (To be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Miramichi, NB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle
Work setting: Employer’s home

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check, Driver’s validity licence check, Child welfare check, Child Abuse Registry check, Criminal record check, basic security clearance, Bondable

Physical Requirements:
The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
The candidate should be client focus, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental

The candidates should have excellent oral communication, values and ethics, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
The candidates should be able to administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
The candidates should be able to take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, monitor nutritional intake and conduct specimen collection
The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
