Job Title: Hospital Operator, Glenbrook Hospital
Location: Glenview, IL
Full-Time: 40 Hours
Hours:
Week 1 Sun – 8:30a – 5:00p (HP), Mon – 7a – 3:30p (GB), Tue – Off, Wed – 7a – 3:30p (HP), Thu – 7a – 3:30p (GB), Fri – 10:30a – 7:00p, (HP) Sat – Off
Week 2 Sun – Off, Mon – 7a – 3:30p (GB), Tue – 7a – 3:30p (GB), Wed – Off, Thu – 7a – 3:30p (GB), Fri – 7
What you will do:
- Professionally answer and process incoming telephone calls timely and accurately
- Respond and accurately process emergency notification requests including overhead announcements, pager notifications and escalation
- Documentation of daily activities in shift reports
What you will need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Six months’ experience as a telephone operator on a multi-function switchboard is preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in a hospital or health care related setting preferred
