WesTrac is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis in South Guildford, WA.
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the payroll function and the effective and timely processing of WesTrac employee wages/salary and entitlements payments.
This includes ensuring payments are made in accordance with all relevant awards, approved contracts, and WesTrac policies. Additionally, the Payroll Officer will ensure associated personnel records are maintained within secured payroll systems as required to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
About You:
- Experience in a payroll position or similar
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer literacy skills, SAP highly regarded
- High attention to detail with the ability to analyse data, identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
