Job Title: MCG Technician
Location: Perth WA
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Reporting to the Technology Supervisors, the MCG Technician is responsible for the installation, and ongoing support of the MineStar Technology products, installed on Caterpillar and other Manufacturers equipment.
This is your opportunity to work with various Caterpillar MineStar solutions as a MCG Technician providing high levels of customer service to both internal and external clients, while supporting WesTrac to achieve customers satisfaction goals, overall relationship development and dealership growth.
Successful candidates will undertake both on the job and technical training throughout your onboarding period. When competency has been achieved, various roster options in line with operational requirements will be discussed.
Location: Perth Airport (Technology Department – Anderson Place)
Roster: (Various rosters – 4/3, 5/2, 8/6 – 7/7 10.5-12.5HRS) Permanent Full-Time
To be successful the following is required:
- Desirable but Not Essential – Certificate III Automotive Technician, Certificate III Heavy Diesel, Cert III Communications Electronic or equivalent and Certificate III Electrotechnology.
- C Class manual driver’s license
- Ability to work successfully within a team.
- Perform hardware electrical and mechanical installations, following technical and safety documentation.
- Confidence to provide standards-based quality workmanship.
- Skills to complete technical and administrative documentation to a high standard
- Ability to Problem solve, fault find and troubleshoot.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
