Job Title: Diesel Mechanic – OEM Expert
Location: Perth, WA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Magni or Manitou equipment, particularly in the areas of or Magni telescopic handlers, cranes, and lifting equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on Manitou equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and overhauls on major components, including engines, hydraulic pumps, transmissions, and final drives.
- Diagnose and repair power shifts and hydrostatic transmissions.
- Overhaul heavy Manitou equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair major hydraulic components, such as brake systems, reduction units, and steering systems.
- Properly maintain defective parts under warranty and analyze the root cause of failures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Manitou’s global network to stay informed of the latest technical updates and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain and enhance product knowledge.
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Manitou or Magni equipment, specifically in telescopic handlers, cranes, and lifting equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
